The Family Resource Centre (FRC) programme is Ireland?s largest
family support programme delivering universal services to families and
individuals across **Apply on the website** communities. The National
Forum of FRCs has a dedicated National Mental Health Promotion
Project, which provides training, support and best practice guidance
on mental health promotion, suicide prevention and social prescribing
in order to meet the needs of communities. The project has been
fundamental in the development of the 6 Social Prescribing Projects in
Cork and Kerry since **Apply on the website**.The National FRC Mental
Health Promotion Project is recruiting a Regional Social Prescribing
Coordinator for the mainstream rollout of social prescribing in Cork
and Kerry.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The purpose of the Regional Social Prescribing Co-ordinator is to
support the mainstream implementation of the Health and Wellbeing
Community Referral Projects in Cork and Kerry.
These projects have been established for a number of years and are in
the process of expansion in collaboration with the HSE in Cork and
Kerry. The regional coordinator will take a leadership role in
managing implementation, providing support to link workers, and
ensuring a high-quality structured approach to the delivery and
evaluation of social prescribing.
KEY TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
HOURS OF WORK: **Apply on the website** hours per week over 5 days
excluding scheduled break/s.
PLEASE NOTE: extensive travelling, evening work, overnight stays, and
occasional weekend work are necessary for the position.
ANNUAL LEAVE: **Apply on the website** days per calendar year, plus
national holidays (Pro rata.)
SALARY: in line with HSE grade VI based on experience (Pro rata)
